We stayed 2 nights at Glach a Mara. Christina and Tom were lovely hosts. The rooms were clean and bright, beds comfortable, and breakfast delicious! Wendy, Tom and Christina’s collie, was a delight!

Sehr, sehr nette Gastgeber.

Dear Tom and Christina, thank you again for your warm welcome, the lovely room overlooking such a beautiful landscape and the delightful Irish breakfast, we’ll leave here a review in French so that you get plenty of nice French hosts 😉 L’accueil en B&B en Irlande est généralement formidable avec toujours un excellent Irish breakfast, ici il y avait des fraises fraîches en plus au petit déj!

Tom and Christina are wonderful hosts. Our arrival was delayed until quite late as I unexpectedly needed some medical care before driving from Belfast to Sligo. Tom was very welcoming despite the late hour we arrived, seeing to our comfort. Tom took time to help us with our plans for the next day – what was doable and helped us with the best route to take. Food was great! Thank you Tom and Christina for your care and concern for us. Great place – would definitely return!

Clean and comfortable. Nice ensuite bathroom. Christina loves to spend time with her guests—and she has a really nice dog! The road sign makes it a little difficult to see from the road, but it’s well worth finding!

Tom and Christina are excellent hosts and our stay at Glach A Mara was nothing less than perfect. From the time we were excitedly greeted by Wendy the dog through her seeing us off by making rounds about the car, our stay was an absolute pleasure. The room was comfortable and the full Irish breakfast was an excellent start to the day. Tom and Christina went above and beyond providing recommendations for activities and dining, even offering to make reservations for us. The location is ideal with magnificent views of the sea and, on a clear day (insert name of that hill here). Special thanks to Tom for directions and the hand-drawn map to Glencar Waterfall. Overall our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend Tom and Christina for your stay in the Sligo area

We stayed here in Glachamara for two nights in early May. This was a very nice house, the location was great, between Sligo & Donegal. Christina was quite friendly & helpful, with freezing an ice pack for my wife who hurt her hip the day before, horse ride fall. We came the first night from staying in far north Malin Head and it was not too far. We did a horse ride in the afternoon, nearby, just prior to check-in. The next day we drove to and visited Donegal Castle, Glen Folk Village, Slieve League Cliffs, then back near the B&B, Glencar Falls and then dinner in Sligo.

We arrived as your guests and left as your friends.

A super nice and warm welcome. Great hospitality and we really enjoyed the sightseeing.
